 UTS CONSULTANCY LTD is an independent corporation adaptable to the needs of the oil & gas, marine and construction industries, both onshore and offshore. Our firm was founded with the intention of associating a full range of highly qualified professionals to work as liaison between the construction contractor and owner company in areas of marine, civil as well as petroleum engineering engagements, with rare competence in and dedication to dry docking/ new ship building supervision, vessel manning & offshore crew management,  offshore security service, vessel acquisition, vessel chartering, vessel survey, inspection and auditing, offshore catering, waste management,  to mention but few.

Our personnel can work independently on a turnkey basis or under the direction of owner-company supervision to ensure that every phase of operation is properly inspected and supervised and the quality of work is performed and documented in accordance with owner’s specifications and standard requirements. We have the ability to furnish highly experienced Craftsmen in nearly every phase of the oil and gas industry.

UTS CONSULTANCY LTD proposes to perform for the Client Company, field services in connection with the construction of their proposed oil and gas/ marine facilities, pipelines and related appurtenances. For this purpose, our company shall assign competent personnel in such number and classification as requested and required by the Client.

The Client shall have the right during the progress of the work to review the need for personnel inclusive of any additions, reductions, or replacement of our forces. We maintain that we can supply a sufficient number of experienced and competent personnel to meet the Clients requirements in any regard.

UTS CONSULTANCY LTD is an indigenous Company and we strive at supplying the very best of field indigenous personnel and services possible for each of our projects, but at specific Client requests. We shall supply required TCN and expatriate personnel within a month’s notice of requirement of such personnel by a given Client.

Membership Structure

The company prides itself with a selection of credible individuals who stand out in different fields of human endeavor and have come together to constitute our amiable company both as board members and employees.

The Managing Director is the chairman as well as the chief executive of the company. He oversees the entire administrative machinery of the company. He presides over the affairs of the company and is assisted in this regard by seasoned technocrats who head the various departments while all field operations are co-ordinate and supervised by an experienced Project/General Manager (GM). All the various heads ensure the implementation of all management policies within their departments.

ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT

This department organizes the entire administrative network within the organization and ensures proper co-ordination and interplay among the various departments.

Also it collates all departmental/official requisitions and channels them appropriately for procurement and allocation. The Administrative Manager heads this unit and he delegates functions to his subordinates who act as personnel, administrative and purchasing officers.

HUMAN RESOURCE DEPARTMENT

This unit keeps inventory of the entire personnel records and information dissemination within our set up. It is being managed by a responsible person known as the Human Resource Manager (HRM). All affairs relating to staff welfare, training, roles, remuneration and recruitment is actively handled by this department.

CREWING DEPARTMENT

Crewing department handles affairs relating to our sea staff and is being handled by the Crewing Officer. He works hand in hand with the HR department to ensure personnel are always available for crew change in line with statutory requirements.

LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT

Logistics department handles the responsibility of ensuring that vehicles and equipment are properly attended to. The logistics officer makes sure the drivers get their vehicles properly serviced, cleaners and other mercenaries discharge their duties accordingly. He also takes care of accommodation need, transport and utility services for our clients.

FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS

The Financial controller manages this department with the help of accounts and clerical officers under him. This unit manages all financial, and cost related issues within the company. Through proper book keeping and accounting records all personal emoluments and leave entitlements and pension of staff are evaluated here and settled; such other issues as budget estimates, income forecasts are also handled here.

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT

This department monitors and supervises the implementation of the quality management system of the company. The Quality Manager oversees this department and is responsible for the preparation review and implementation of Quality Assurance Manual.

SAFETY AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS DEPARTMENT

The safety co-coordinator takes charge of this department. He formulates the safety policy and guidelines of the company and its implementation at all levels within the organization through the various unit heads and his subordinates who act as safety officers.

Also all community and environmental issues and associated with conflicts are addressed and handled.
