VESSEL ACQUISITION & SHIP BUILDING SUPERVISION
In collaboration with our foreign technical partners, UTS CONSULTANCY LTD provides Vessel Acquisition Service for credible clients. Whenever a request is made by our clients for new vessel delivery, our team of Maritime experts immediately makes contact with renowned ship owners and shipbuilders and the available vessels are screened by our ship building architects for building quality, seaworthiness, and structural integrity in line with client’s specifications. Timely delivery is also ensured.
VESSEL CHARTERING & VESSEL MANAGEMENT SERVICES
UTS CONSULTANCY LTD also renders vessel chartering services. State of the art vessels in line with ICS, IMCA and various offshore ship operators associations’ requirements are provided for chartering. When a letter of intent is received from our client with the specification of vessels required, we make sure such vessels are provided either from our internal fleet or from our credible partners all over the world. UTS CONSULTANCY LTD also provides Vessel Management Services to credible ship owners and operators that do not presently have the competence and resources to handle such services. This is done at a reasonable cost charged.
SECURITY SERVICE FOR VESSELS AND OFFSHORE ASSETS
In line with the requirements of the ISPS code and National Security regulations in force, UTS CONSULTANCY LTD provides Security Services for Vessels and Offshore Assets in partnership with the Nigerian Navy. Our state of the art security and surveillance crafts with modern security gadgets and facilities make the work a lot easier as we could pick targets tens of miles away and intercept them before they get too close. We could either provide security personnel only or in tandem with patrol vessels depending on the demands of our clients.
VESSEL AND EQUIPMENT SURVEY, INSPECTION AND AUDITING
UTS CONSULTANCY LTD also provides Vessel Inspection Service and Shore Facility Audits in line with the requirements of SOLAS convention. Vessels are inspected according to SOLAS and OVID requirements for structural integrity (hull and machinery), equipment condition and personnel certification and competence (STCW ’2010 code). Vessels surveys in line with statutory requirements become imperative as loss of lives at sea and in port have been frequently reported in the past and our team of experts is dedicated to meeting this need as Port State Control and Flag State Authorities make it compulsory for vessels to be run in line with classification society’s standards. We also service and maintain Safety equipment and appliances in line with SOLAS specifications at a given client’s request. Shore Facilities and Assets also go through our auditing system to ensure they conform to required standards.
CARGO SURVEY AND LUBE OIL SAMPLING
UTS CONSULTANCY LTD renders Cargo Survey Services for interested clients. Our team of Cargo Surveyors ensures that clients’ cargos do not suffer undue loss in terms of quality and quantity. We understand that cargo pilfering is a common situation in cargo quantification, so our surveyors give attention to strict and detailed evaluation prior calculation. Various methods of quantification are used to ascertain final results. Stringent quality analysis is also carried out to ensure zero adulteration. Lube Oil Sampling is being carried out by experts in line with standard specifications requirements. Periodic examination of lube oil and hydraulic oil is highly recommended for all ship operators.
OIL SALE AND BUNKERING
In line with the provisions of the Department of Petroleum Resources, Federal Republic of Nigeria and the laws and regulations of the Nigerian Navy, UTS CONSULTANCY LTD offers Sale of Oil and other refined petroleum products, delivering same at offshore and onshore locations as required by our clients. With our ‘state of the art’ bunker vessels and shore trucks, delivery of our products at sea and shore location couldn’t be easier.
SHIP CHANDELLING AND OFFSHORE CATERING SERVICE
UTS CONSULTANCY LTD renders Ship Chandelling and Offshore Catering Services to ship operators and offshore drilling and production companies while ensuring best practices are adhered to. In line with the provisions of health authorities, food stuffs and groceries are supplied at best hygienic conditions to our clients and at very cost effective rates. Our highly competent chefs, stewards and camp bosses also provide quality catering services on board ships and offshore facilities, ensuring strict adherence to the provisions of Marpol 73/78 in offshore waste management.
WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICE
In line with the provisions of Marpol 73/78, UTS CONSULTANCY LTD provides waste management services to ship operators. Our waste management team employs best use of tools and equipment in waste evacuation and processing and our dedicated waste evacuation trucks and vans makes the work a lot easier. Risk of environmental degradation is always considered in our waste management policy. Possible Health hazards are also considered.
